Friday Evening - October 27th

Executive Suite Gold Room - 522 Scotty's Lane (At Our Host Hotel, The I-10 Exit is #29)

An industry expert will lead the tasting and discuss the malting and distilling processes which make Scotch whiskys so unique. A local piper and members of the Games Council, in highland attire, will help set the mood. Last year's event was a sell-out and seating is limited to 100, so be sure to purchase your tickets now. (Note: Whisky is spelled correctly for Scotch and Canadian whiskys.)

7:30 to 9:00 PM - SPONSORS' RECEPTION This night-before-the-Games evening event is so special many folks become Sponsors just to attend! We offer a dressy &/or Kilted evening: the Wyndbreakers band to dance or sing by; excellent food and an open bar with Scotch Whisky and other liquor flowing. This evening is to honor those corporate and Personal Sponsors & honored guests who make the presentation of the Games possible! Sponsor's Badge required for attendance.

Games Day - Saturday - October 28th

8:30 - 4:00 - THE GAMES & FESTIVAL! Sunny Hill Farm - 7100 Roberts Rd. (Roberts @ Centerville Road) - Tallahassee Our Scottish Games offer Athletic events for amateurs (A & B Divisions); Childrens events and Internationally-known Entertainers, performing traditional Scottish, Irish & Celtic music and song. See reverse for specific entertainers!!

Opening Ceremonies at 11 AM and Closing Ceremonies at 4 PM will feature several Pipe Bands, Tartan, Clan and Society Banners and Flags, Military Honor Guards, Drum Major of the Day, the year 2000 Honored Clan and the year 2000 Honored Guests. Closing Ceremonies provide the opportunity to announce the winner of the RAFFLE FOR 2 ROUND-TRIP AIRFARES TO SCOTLAND ON ICELAND AIR!!

Throughout the day there will be performances by Several Pipe Bands, and maybe a Military Pipe Band as well as a High School Jr. ROTC drill team.

You can enjoy demonstrations of Scottish Country Dance; Scottish Highland Dance; Clan & Society Tents; Genealogy Specialists; Border Collie Shepherding Exhibitions; Old World Encampments with Re-enactments and Demonstrations; Children's Games, Activities and Story-telling; Celtic Merchandise & Food as well as Guinness, Harp and Bass Beer.

Saturday Evening - October 28th

7:00 to 11:00 PM - THE CEILIDH (Kay-lee) Executive Suite, Gold Room (see Host Hotels). Entertainment begins at 7:00 PM. Our Ceilidh is a casual evening of fun featuring the entertainers from the Games as well as local Celtic talent. Put your hands together and stomp your feet while you enjoy an unforgettable evening of music, song, jokes and stories. We usually have some instant Raffles with great prizes, also!! Arrive early - SEATING, AS ALWAYS, IS LIMITED, Admission tickets required.
